My first outfit post of 2012! Taken me long enough – even though I’ve worn outfits I’ve liked, I’ve not had a chance to photograph any of them! But I really like this one – and a bit of Versace, too! Never thought I’d have that name featured in an outfit post. I’m not normally bothered about designer collaborations with high street shops because even when the shops have large size ranges (like H&M, who go up to 24 in their main range), they inevitably stop at 16. But when I saw this cardigan I knew I had to try anyway.

I ordered the 18-20, and it looks great although buttoned up full there are definitely a few gaps – but I really like twinset, top buttoned cardigans of the fifties so I’m not too bummed.

So yeah – in your face, Donatella! What do you guys think of the outfit?

    You look all sorts of adorables, my kitty agrees, he is pawing at the keyboard. I very rarely do this but I watched the Versace 2012, whatever it was, runway show and saw this similar fruit print and found it intriguing. I hate that Donatella has such a negative outlook on women and size but this is a really cute cardigan. I love the black dress as well.

    I absolutely LOVE the dress, it looks so cute on you. I’m not a big fan of Versace myself, but the cardi works really well with the dress. :)

    Wait, what? H&M totally doesn’t go to a size 24 in the main range. You mean their sad, sad plus size department, now called H&M+?

      Nope – H&M go up to XL (22-24) in quite a few items in their normal range now (not that the shops stock it, of course). H&M+ is separate and totally dull, I agree.

    I hadn’t seen Versace’s H&M collection yet and I wouldn’t imagine she’d make such a cute cardigan. It’s so so adoooorable! In you face Donatella, for sure, you just wear it like that or with gaps and all because it suits you perfectly.
