So there’s quite a funny story about this dress of mine. I’m signed up to this wholesale site in the US that does junior plus sizes, and I always have a look to see what’s available. I saw this, and nearly fell off my seat! I of course did what comes naturally: talked about it on twitter. The thing is, I forget that now people actually read my tweets and I’m not just shouting into the abyss any more. So when I said “I think a boutique should get this in, because it will SELL” I didn’t expect someone to tweet me back going “ok, we’ve just bought it in – it drops next month!” OMG. Instantly I went into a panic, thinking what if they’ve bought it because of me and no one buys it and they make a loss? Argh! I’ve had almost no money over, well, the past two years, so frivolous dress purchases have been sadly off my radar but I managed to save up and get it – and a few other bits, because Eddy & Bri had a $50 for $100 worth of clothes voucher at the time!

As it turned out, my fears were unfounded: the dress sold out pretty quickly, and I actually had to wait for my dress. But I’m not sorry. I LOVE IT. Now I just need an awesome party to wear it to…
